Jasmine Curtis-Smith breaks her silence on that controversial Snapchat video with Erwan Heusaff

Exactly three weeks ago, Jasmine Curtis-Smith posted a Snapchat video of her and Erwan Heusaff [who was then celebrating his birthday] in an embrace, with him appearing to be kissing her cheek while he’s topless. The photo led many netizens to question if there was something going on between Erwan and Jasmine despite Anne and Erwan being together – even though there wasn’t any information available about the picture.
Fans went crazy and rushed to elder sister Anne Curtis’ defense. Anne on the other hand, simply shrugged it off saying that people were just being ‘malicious.’ Jasmine finally breaks her silence,
“Actually, hindi ako nasaktan because there’s no truth to it. In fact, I was shocked with the way people reacted. But at the end of the day, you can’t avoid such as there are cultural differences. There are people who might just don’t understand the relationship that the three of us have. So I can’t blame them, I guess. We [Erwan and I] have been that way ever since [he and Anne] have been dating. It’s not that biglaan na may na-develop na ganung closeness between us.”
Jasmine remains unfazed with all the hateful comments people have hurled at her. “I don’t know them personally, they don’t know me personally. So I don’t let it affect me.”
Jasmine said that when the photo came out, she was criticized so much online, with some calling her a flirt and other hurtful words. When asked for a comment, Jasmien said:
“Hurtful, yes but I don’t know them personally. They don’t know me personally, so I don’t let them affect me. And like I said, our relationship between the 3 of us, it’s always been that way. So there’s really no other way that it should have been taken pero nga, hindi naman nila alam talaga paano yung dynamics namin (but as I said, they don’t know the dynamics between us).”
Jasmine even said that the three of them have been laughing about the issue. “Actually we’re not really affected by the issue. More than anything, kinukuwestyon ko lang paano naging ganun isip ng mga tao (I just questioned why people would think like that),” she said.
“I’ve always been conscious of what I post on social media. I’m not playing it safe. I don’t have to worry what people will think because I know naman that I’m not malandi (a flirt),” she said.
Aside from Anne, their mom Carmen recently posted a short message to those criticizing her on the issue to stop.
