30 beauties to vie for Miss Manila 2017
The City of Manila and MARE Foundation, together with VIVA Live, once again team up to crown the next Miss Manila.
On its fourth consecutive year, the search is not only looking for a woman of beauty, but also of empowerment, personifies social awareness, and embodies a true Manileña with grace, passion, and optimism.
In celebration of Araw Ng Maynila, under the decree of Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada, proceeds of this year’s pageant will benefit MARE Foundation, a non-profit institution headed by Chairperson and Pageant Director, Ms. Jackie Ejercito.
The official candidates for Miss Manila 2017 are : GLENN AEELA KRISHNAN, ALEXANDRA QUE, JANE USISON, SHIELA MAE MORALES, JOANNA ROSE TOLLEDO, ROXANNE NATIVIDAD, SOFIA SIBUG, HAZEL ANN REYES, ATHENA MARIE JAMAICA CATRIZ, BEA GENEROSA AQUINO, MARIA GAIL D. TOBES, RYCCA TIMOG, MERYLJAN ANGANGAN, KATRINA MAE SESE , MARIA ISABEL ALVES, KRISTINE JOYCE MONTES, ALLHIA CHARMAINE ESTORES, DIANA MACKEY, ALYSSA JOREEN REYES, SHAINE NICOLE CHAVEZ, NAELAH ALSHORBAJI ALMAZIK, PRINCESS BAUTISTA, GERI FRANCHESCA CAMARGO, PAMELA VILLACORTE, JENNIFER DAGURO, KRISTINE EIRIEL NOLASCO, JHAN NICOLE AMBATA, REGINE SARAH TURJMAN, PAOLA BIANCA BAGAFORO, KRISTEL HERRERA.
The grand coronation night will be held on Araw ng Maynila, June 24, 7 p.m. at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), with telecast on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best, after Gandang Gabi Vice, on June 25.
Miss Manila 2017 will receive Php 1,000,000.00 worth of prizes, consisting of a management contract and Php 500,000.00 in cash; 1st Runner-Up (Php 350,000.00 cash); 2nd Runner-Up (Php 250,00.00 cash); 3rd Runner-Up (Php 150,000.00 cash); 4th Runner-Up (Php 100,000.00 cash), and a contract with VIVA.
The winner will also represent the City of Manila in different functions and events.
