7th PMPC Star Awards for Music And the winners are…

It was a night of performances as the Philippine Movie Press Club presented its 7th PMPC Star Awards for Music in a concert-like scenario complete with live band and a DJ host.
Caliber guest performers as well as the nominees themselves showed their singing prowess the likes of KZ Tandingan, Darren Espanto, Aicelle Santos, Jonalyn Viray, Jet Pangan, Kean Cipriano, Kyla, Eric Santos, Vina Morales, Janno Gibbs, Christian Bautista, Matteo Guidicelli, Gloc 9 with his band, Alex Gonzaga, The Dawn, Kylie 
Padilla, Jason Dy, Sheryl Cruz, Michael Pangilinan, Kean Cipriano and Eunice with his Band, & Mark Mabasa and Friends.
First-timers to win in the PMPC’s music awards were Espanto, Amon, Cipriano, Sheryl Cruz, Edward Benosa, Hannah Nolasco and Glaiza de Castro.
But obviously it was Vice Ganda’s night after winning 4 awards for Novelty Song of the Year, Concert of the Year, Male Concert Performer of the Year, and Male Recording Artist of the Year.
Singer-song writer Rey Valera was this year’s Pilita Corrales lifetime achievement awardee, while the Parangal Levi Celerio was given to Ogie Alcasid.
Kim Chiu and Enchong Dee who each rendered song number from their respected album were recipients of special award, the Erase Male and Female Face of the Night. They hosted the awards show together with DJ host Tom Taus.
Held on November 10 at KIA Theater, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City, the awards show directed by Bert de Leon and produced by Airtime Marketing of Tess Celestin-Howard will have a TV telecast over ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best on November 29, 2015.
