‘90s actress Marinella Moran feels young, healthy at 40
The call for a comeback is a strong one for ‘90s actress Marinella Moran. “Universe is calling me. With the help of Mother Lito De Guzman, my comeback movie is really happening,” she said.
Moran ventured into acting at the age of 13 when she signed with Seiko Films. She made a mark with the daring project “Paraiso ni Efren” under the tutelage of the late Maryo J. Delos Reyes. The said film earned her a best actress nomination.
While she has been based in the Lion City since 2005 after getting married, the actress admits Manila remains her home and showbiz will always have a special place in her heart.

“My heart tells me to go back to my roots—acting, performing. I’m proud to announce that I’m also producing. I am looking forward to working with the best like Claudine Barretto,” shared the actress-producer.
Excitement is truly evident for the returning actress and she attributes the idea of making a comeback to rewatching her old films.
While locked up at home due to the global health crisis, Moran had the opportunity to watch her “Paraiso ni Efren” after so many years and a longing to give showbiz another try was triggered.
As Moran returns, her family is in full support. In fact, she expressed excitement for her two-year old baby Alexander Robin Hardman to share the limelight. The young boy with Filipino and German roots will explore VTR auditions in advertising.

Exciting times for Moran are definitely coming. She also turned 40 this year and felt stronger, healthier, and prettier than ever. “Life is like that. We grow. We learn. We overcome. I hope this virus ends and I wish for a great comeback.”
