Bimby Aquino Yap bags the Most Popular Male Child Performer award

Si Bimby Aquino Yap ang pinarangalang ‘Most Popular Male Child Performer’ sa katatapos na awards night ng Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Foundation. Ginanap ito sa The Theater ng Solaire Resort & Casino noong Linggo, June 14.
“I’m good,” ani Bimby nang kumustahin ng Philippine Showbiz Republic (PSR) how he feels. “I’m happy! And I make my mom proud. Thank you very much Guillermo Mendoza Awards for choosing me as the ‘Most Popular Male Child Performer’ for 2014.”
“I want to share this award with my mama who is sick today. I love you mama, get well soon. This is also for my Kuya, my ninong Deo (Endrinal), Tito Vice (Ganda), Direk Wenn (Deramas), Ninong Boy (Abunda), and of course… for my fans. This will inspire me to be better in my projects. But for now, I will study first.
Thank you and goodnight. And my mama wants me to go home na,” sabi ng bibong bata sa kanyang acceptance speech.
Hindi kasama ni Bimby si Kris na binigyan ng special citation para sa box office hit horror movie nitong Fung Shui kung saan kasama si Coco Martin.
“She’s sick. So I’m saying her lines,” pagtukoy niya sa maikling acceptance speech niya para sa award ng kanyang ina.
“On behalf of my mama, Tito Coco (Martin) and Direk Chito (Rono), thank you Guillermo for giving Feng Shui the ‘Highest Grossing Horror Movie Of All Time’ award. This award will really make my mama feel better. Thank you.
I want to say… congratulations mama. I Love you, get well soon, and please wait for me. Because you want to sleep na already. And because I miss you.”
