Maria Ozawa says she has forgiven Robin Padilla; willing to work with him soon
By: Archie Liao
Since then, marami nang naging pagbabago sa proyekto.
Did she audition for the role?
“I guested in a radio show “Boys Night Out” here in Manila during one of my visits. Then, somebody asked me if I’m willing to do a movie in the Philippines. I said “I’d love to do that. I love to do action. The producers were listening to the radio then. They got interested and contacted my management here in Manila and so, I became part of the movie,” kuwento ni Maria.
“The producers explained to me what happened to his family and that’s also sad. Now, I understand his situation,” aniya.
“I’m willing to work with him. We are okay now,” sabi niya.
“I was told he is an action superstar and a good and award-winning actor,” sabi niya tungkol kay Cesar.
Paano niya ide-describe si Cesar Montano bilang katrabaho at leading man?
“He’s nice, kind and handsome”, maikli niyang sagot. “He’s also a gentleman. I think, we’re good friends now,” pahabol niya.
“People here are very warm and very friendly. They are very professional and passionate in their work.”
How about the working conditions here compared to other countries where she has worked?
“The working hours is like crazy. We work around 15 hours a day but I have no complaints. I enjoyed it because I got to bond with the actors and the production people. The more (longer) I stay, the more I have the time to know them,” saad niya.
“I took Kendo in Japan. It’s a form of mixed martial arts. I had difficulty in handling and swinging swords but it’s worth it. I also did target shooting,” pagtatapat niya.
Ano ang kanyang impression sa Pilipinas?
“ I love the Philippines here not because of the climate, I love the people here. People here give priority to their family first. In Japan, because people are working and too busy, family does not also come first to them,” pagtatapat niya.
Did she have a culture shock during her stay in the Philippines?
“I like the weather here. In Japan, it’s too cold. Sometimes you have to wear 10 layers of clothes. In Japan, there’s also traffic but here the traffic is crazy. But I want to see more of the Philippines. I want to go to beaches like Boracay,” sabi pa niya.
Cesar is a true-blooded Boholano. Did he invite you to visit Bohol?
“Yes, he did,” pakli niya.
“I’m already retired and too old for that,” bulalas niya.
“I want to do more movies in the Philippines. Next project, I might do “mistress” roles,” pagtatapos niya.
