Back on track: Master writer Ricky Lee to conduct 15th film scriptwriting workshop
Himala, Brutal, Jaguar, Gumapang Ka sa Lupa—these were some of his works that mirrored the story of the Filipino, brought us to the world that is untold.
The award-winning screenwriter has worked with many awarded filmmakers including the great Lino Brocka and Ishmael Bernal.
And now, the master writer is back with his 15 th film scriptwriting workshop, a writing workshop for selected individuals who want to learn on how to tell story and for some, it will improve their writing.
Since 1982, Lee has been conducting his free scriptwriting workshop and has produced talented-young blood writers that are now working in the film and TV industry.
Lee is not just known for his works in the film and TV industry, he has published his books including “Trip to Quiapo”, “Para Kay B” and many.
He received many awards for his great contribution in the film and TV industry. He has written scripts for film and TV that gave him recognitions and awards both locally and internationally.
The master writer is continue flying with his pen and great ideas that tell the story—story that move, that inspire, that influence. He continues giving us the story that is untold, that is unseen.
What inspires the young blood writers is his humbleness to share his story, to share his experience, to share his knowledge.
