
Congress praises FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
Viewers see “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” as source of information and a grasp of reality, reflecting real life situations and problems that leads the House of Representatives to praise and commend the show for its efforts to promote crime awareness and solution among viewers.
The Congress also endorsed multi-awarded actor and the lead star of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” Coco Martin as “Celebrity Advocate for a Drug-Free Philippines.”
Representative Ace Barbers, Chairman of House Committee on Dangerous Drugs, filed House Resolution No. 358 commending the producers and the whole team of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” for the brave theme of the show, presenting timely and controversial issues like corruption, medical malpractice, narco politics, abusive cops, sex trade, manufacture of dangerous drugs, drug couriers, and the sale of party drugs, last September 14.
According to Barbers in his House Resolution, the show exposes the network of drug syndicates including the scalawags in uniform while also revealing the struggles of the white knights of law enforcement units.
“The show tackles issues like homicide, illegal recruitment, extortion, robbery, kidnapping, carnapping, cybercrime, guns for hire, riding in tandem, fraud, child abuse, human trafficking, terrorism, and drug trafficking,” he added.
Barbers also said that the show promotes awareness of the modus operandi syndicates in recruiting the pawns or abducting their next victim using their infomercial segment where crimes, penalties, and crime prevention are discussed by Coco.
“The TV series highlights the role of the family and the community, particularly the barangay official in helping law enforcements identify and apprehend the criminal elements,” he noted.
Coco Martin continues to be the top actor in his generation, making people to praise him in his challenging role as SPO2 Ricardo Dalisay.
The top Kapamilya series since its pilot episode received positive feedbacks from netizens and viewers. The series always trended on twitter, spotting number one, became the most-talked series in the country.
