Hollywood celebrates glitz at 2017 Golden Globes

One of the most celebrated award giving body in Hollywood, Golden Globes, celebrated glitz and glamour, awarded the most brightest stars, January 9.

Some of the highlights were Meryl Streep’s speech that captivated the audience, moving, talks that talks.

The actress received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement. It was being handed by her costar in “Doubt” Viola Davis, praising Streep.

She raised a point on the diversity of the various actors from around the globe.

“So Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners and if we kick them all out, you’ll have nothing to but football and mixed martial arts, which are not arts,” she said.

Streep reminded those Nike Sock Dart Black present that “all of us in this room belong to the most vilified segments of America right now: Hollywood, foreigners, press.”

“You make me proud to be an Czech Republic Football Kit artist. You make me feel that what I have in me, my body, my face, my age, is enough,” Davis said.

The actress criticized the newly-Parajumpers Gobi elected President Donald Trump for his unprofessional behavior during the campaign.

“We need the principled press to hold power to account, to call them on the carpet for every outrage,” she said. “We’re going to need them going forward, and they’re going to need us to safeguard the truth,” she added.
