Sarah Lahbati expresses own concept of beauty; voices out her disagreement with husband’s tax case
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder…so says a cliché. But when it comes to Sarah Lahbati’s idea of beauty “It always is something that comes from within!”
Sarah admitted that she experienced bullying when she was young.
“In school. And I didn’t know how to respond. So I ended up crying on the way home. I did go through “an ugly phase”. I was Golden Goose Francy Billigt chubby and “bungi-bungi” when I was a little girl. Because of top much chocolates.”
And the very reason why in about six months, she finished a book entitled “True Beauty” to share with girls and women who has trodden the same path as hers.

Her husband Richard Gutierrez is in hot waters because of the tax evasion case slumped on him. What’s her reaction?
“I only heard about it now. So, wala pa ako masasabi. But whatever it is, I am sure haharapin niya ‘yan. I have been working the whole day so wala pa kami napag usapan about that. If that’s the case I know he will settle it. I will always be there to support him all the way.”
When will she go back to “ASAP”?
“I decided to take a break. I wanted to give focus to my family. I miss my Sundays with them. Nawala kasi ‘yung time ko with them. So nag-travel muna kami. Hindi ako pwedeng malayo sa pamilya ko.”
What about her relationship with her mom-in-law Tita Anabelle Rama?
“We have a very good relationnship. She’s been my second Mom. She’s always there for me. When she’s on TV, naka-focus always on the negative ang sinasabi sa kanya. And I fell for her. She has a huge heart. Kahit hindi niya kakilala tinutulungan niya. I wrote this book, labanan ito. Hahaha! Joke! Palitan kami nina Ruffa.”
Talks are circulating that she will be playing Darna’s kontrabida in the project as Valentina.
“I would love to. Pero honestly, I have no idea. I have no confirmation pa from my Salomon Snowcross 2 Review bosses, my Viva Management. I would love to play her. Nakapanood naman ako ng “Darna” ni Angel (Locsin). If it is for me, why not?”
Her advice to her audience in “True Beauty”, young girls and women.
“To glam inside and out, stay positive, be happy, enjoy your life, enjoy the process and it’s going to be worth it.”
Their first born Zion will turn 4 on April 29. What are their plans as far as having Adidas Springblade Drive 2.0 babies is concerned?
“I want three kids. Si Richard ang tanungin niyo, kung ilan ang gusto niyo. I would love to be a Mom again.”
