
Award-winning actor Allen Dizon stars in a movie set to compete in the 33rd Warsaw International Film Festival
Ralston Jover’s “Bomba” (The Bomb) will compete in the 33rd Warsaw International Film Festival slated from October 12 to 22.
Warsaw International Film Festival belongs to the elite group of events recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations as international film festivals-next to Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary, Tokyo, Moscow, Mar de Plata, Montreal , Shanghai, Cairo, Goa and Tallinn.
The movie is set to vie in the main competition against Sweden’s “Noir,” Poland’s “Be Prepared” and “Once Upon a Time in November”, France’s “If You Saw His Heart,” Croatia’s “The Miner,” Iran’s “Boarding Pass,” Tunisia’s “Of Skin and Men,” Greece and Turkey’s “Sideway,” Netherland’s “Beyond Words,” Russia’s “Empty Saddle Syndrome,” Romania’s “The Anniversary,” Estonia’s “The Confession” and China’s “To Kill a Watermelon.”
Produced by ATD Entertainment Productions in cooperation with Heaven’s Best Entertainment and Crowning Glory Movie Equipment Services, “Bomba” stars multi-awarded and internationally acclaimed actor Allen Dizon who plays a deaf-mute who has an unusual relationship with a 16-year old girl played by Angellie Nichole Sanoy.
Considered the most awarded actor of his generation, Allen is expected to make raves in this magnum opus of Ralston Rover whose credits include “Bakal Boys,” “Bendor,” “Hiblang Abo,” “Da Dog Show” and “Hamog.”
One of our most-sought after actors, Allen is also doing Brillante Mendoza’s “Right to Kill,” Aureaus Solito’s “Palawan” and Ralston Jover’s “Persons of Interest.”
The actor-director team of Dizon and Jover will fly to Poland on October 12 to represent the country in the said prestigious international filmfest courtesy of the Film Academy of the Philippines under the chairmanship of Liza Dino-Seguerra.
