
Rash ready to portray serious roles
A 23-year old actor and recording artist Rash Juzen with songs “Ikaw Ang Iibigin Ko” and “Isang Katulad Mo” is hoping to get more serious roles.
After the successful provincial tours of his album under PolyEast Records, he is now part of the film “Ang Pamilya Masagana.” He portrays young father who struggles. The film is written and directed by Mark Bago and produced by Star and Light Productions. Also starring Nadia Go, Anna Libetario, Sofia Trish Cidro, Andrei Issac Del Valle, Yo-Anne Shane Magnaye, Ysabella Clarisse Orandain, and Aubrey Jean Clowie Suriaga, and with special appearance of Rylan Flores.
According to Rash, he enjoys doing the film as he discovers new things about himself. He discovers that he can take serious roles. Rash also takes pride on his first reenactment in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.
What he loves about acting is that it allows him to explore as characters. For Rash, it gives him an opportunity to experience other’s lives.
“May emotions na hindi ko nailalabas sa tunay na buhay, sa acting ko nalang idinadaan. Dito, nakakapag-express ako. Kung kelangang malungkot, dito ibinubuhos ko ang luha ko. First love ko talaga sya eversince bukod sa pagkanta. ‘Yung mga nagdaan, ginawa ko syang stepping stone para makapasok sa acting.
“Idol ko talaga si Coco kasi nagagalingan talaga ako sa kanya. Nagagawa nya lahat. Humahakot sya ng awards. At gusto ko rin someday na makilala ako sa acting at magkaroon ako ng awards.
“Kung anong character ang ibigay, ‘yun talaga ‘yung binibigay ko. Kapag sinabing ito ang character ko, kapag magshoshoot na, ready na ako sa character ko.
“Basta binibigay ko lang ang best ko. Kapag sinabing umacting, a-acting talaga ako. Masarap sa pakiramdam na nagagampanan ko ang role na ibinibigay sakin.”
As he talks with Philippine Showbiz Republic (PSR), he expresses with all his honesty. One thing that his fans love about him, he has that cheerful, approachable character.
Rash thanks all his fans for their support and love. Rash explains that all his projects were accomplished because of the support of his fans.
Now, he is so ready to take serious roles. Rash will accept all the opportunities and will consider that as blessings.
“Ang Pamilya Masagana” will have its premiere on December 2, Starmall Shaw, Cinema 3, 7 to 9pm. He is inviting everyone to watch his upcoming film under the direction of Mark Bago.
