Is Vivo Ouano willing to do more daring roles?
Starstruck alumnus Vivo Ouano makes the boldest move in his career in the sexy comedy play Solo Para Adultos (For Adults Only).
He plays the role of a masseur embroiled in a love triangle with a former flame and porn star Veronica Fox (April Gustillos) and a closet gay and action star JV San Miguel (John Fernandez Raspado).
“Ito po iyong most daring role na nagawa ko,” he said.
He admitted that initially, he had qualms in doing the role of Alfred.
“At first nagdalawang-isip ako kasi may pamilya na ako at may dalawang anak, pero naisip ko naman na trabaho lang siya, so sabi ko, bakit hindi ko subukan, so far, okey naman siya,” he declared.
He however, clarified that going sexy is not a desperate attempt on his part to stage a comeback, after his hiatus from showbiz.
Gusto ko lang siyang ma-experience,” he reasoned out.
He also said that he is open to do more sexy roles in the future.
Asked if he’s willing to do more daring roles that would require him to do nudity or butt exposure, the actor had this to say.
He also does not mind doing movies with LGBT themes and having kissing scenes with the same sex.
“Ok lang po,” he remarked.
He also enjoyed doing his first acting job on stage.
“Na-enjoy ko siya at na-challenge rin ako. Ibang-iba.
He also shared his secret when he tends to forget his lines in the play.
Ok lang makalimot basta tuloy-tuloy pa rin,” he pointed out.
After baring onstage, he also does not mind being the object of sexual fantasy of gays and girls.
“Ok lang siyempre, artista ako so normal lang iyon , so para sa akin, okay lang siya,” he concluded.
‘Solo Para Adultos’ also stars Japanese-Filipino singer-actress Tori Garcia as the scandal queen and film ,TV and theater actor Andres Vasquez as the stripper.
Directed by Alejandro “Bong” Ramos, “Solo Para Adultos” had its successful premiere last October 20 at the Music Museum.
