‘Deadma Walking’ gets 7 nominations in this year’s Eddys

The most talked MMFF entry Deadma Walking got 7 nominations in this year’s Eddys Awards of the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEED).

This inludes Best Picture (T-Rex Entertainment, Producer Rex Tiri), Best Director Julius Ruslin Alfonso, Best Actor Edgar Allan Guzman, Best Screenplay Eric Cabahug, Best Editing Vanessa Ubas de Leon, Best Musical Score Von De Guzmán and Best Original Theme Song (“Aking Ligaya”) also by Eric Cabahug.

Very thankful din ang Best Actor nominee na si EA dahil napansin ng award-giving body ang ipinakita niyang galing sa pag-arte para sa nasabing pelikuka.

Aniya, isang malaking karangalan na daw ang ma-nominate sa isang award-giving body.

Bonus na lang daw kung maiuuwi niya pa ang tropeo.

Ganun din ang nararamdaman ng first-time director na si Julius Ruslin Alfonso sa kanyang pagkaka-nominate.

Manalo man daw o manalo, ay ituturing niyang malaking karangalan ang naturang nominasyon.

Samantala, nagpapasalamat din ang mabait na producer ng Deadma Walking na si Rex Tiri dahil sa pagkilala sa nasabing pelikula: “We are thankful and honored with the Eddy’s for recognizing Deadma Walking,” ang sabi ni Tiri.

Mas inspired daw siyang mag-produce ng mas marami pang pelikula dahil dito.

In fact, his production, T-Rex Entertainment, will be producing six movies this year.

Magsisimula na ang paggiling ng kamera sa kanyang mga pelikula sa susunod na buwan kaya abangan ang mas malalaking produksiyon at mga artistang kasama dito.

Going back, announcement and awarding of winners for the EDDYS Awards will be on June. Pinangungunahan ito ng kanilang presidente na si Jojo Panaligan.

This is apart from the awards for acting and directing and other technical and creative awards that will be given out also on the same day.
