
Beauty is the mother of invention for Princess Ramos; Launches Organico Royale soap and body product lines
For Ms. Globe International 2014 – Continental Queen Princess Ramos, “keeping myself beautiful is always intended for myself, for my own eyes and being noticed by others is just a bonus.”
Opening our conversation by asking what motivates her to maintain her pretty looks allowed our casual chat to stem from her various beauty titles to now being the maker of Organico Royale.
What paved way for you to formulate Organico Royale?
“Well first, Organico Royale is a bath and body product lines. I personally formulated this organic soap in order for users to at least reduce skin problems caused by irritating chemical ingredients.
“While others say that ‘necessity is the mother of invention,’ to me it’s different. ‘Beauty is the mother of invention’,” as she cleverly quips.
What is the USP of this product?
“Whoa! Let me just recall my Marketing 101 (Princess took about a minute to recall her subjects in Marketing).
“Naalala ko na, USP is Unique Selling Proposition. Grabe, it’s been a while since the last time I heard this term in school. Buti na lang, na-tackle namin ‘yan in obtaining a degree in HRM.
“Organico Royale is not at all produced with herbicides, chemical fertilizers or pesticides. And since it is a backyard business, my love is simply into every formulation. I personally mix and produce this so in support to its USP, I do not compromise quality. Hindi din ako pwede sa ‘pwede na iyan’ principle.”
What do you promise the users of Organico Royale?
“We aim and promise to make only organic products, natural and chemical-free that is entirely beneficial to end-users. As you know, products nowadays are not feature driven, it must be benefit-driven in order to address the real needs of your consumers.
“Along with this, we can help, in our own little ways to save the environment by using healthy, green, organic gentle soap and bath products.”
How is it going so far with your present patrons?
“We’ve been selling our products for less than a year and we’ve been gathering positive feedback so far. It makes us feel elated as some say, ‘it reduced their skin allergies,’ ‘mild and gentle on their skin,’ ‘it works as moisturizer to their skin as well,’ ‘it reduced their skin impurities like acne,’ and so many others.
The packaging alone to me is very attractive. How did you come up with all these ideas?
“Not known to many, I am an eco-friendly citizen so it is inert to me to focus on eliminating waste and choosing a packaging that is environmentally-friendly. In this manner, customers have more affordable options and alternatives to help make their daily living – ‘green’.”
“And on top of this, I would like to acknowledge also the photography prowess of my partner, Gil Wagas. He is of course the Mister International 2013 and is responsible for the creative shots of Organico Royale. His eye on creative shots helped boost our sales via online ‘coz as of this time, these products are sold online. But wait until we open a physical store. That is very soon.”
What else is keeping you busy?
“I am managing a fashion line and will open a boutique soon. I still do modeling, hosting events and oftentimes, I am invited to judge beauty pageants.
On top of this, what really keeps me busy in a most importantly manner is my being a mother to a baby boy. A proud Mom here!”
What’s your words of wisdom to women of today?
“Smile. That is the best wear we have.”
On a personal note, beauty and brains really has to go together. Princess to me is an epitome of a strong woman who has skills of being entrepreneur and a classic example of a woman who exercises credible selling.
