Eddie Garcia finally receives trophy from Subic Bay International Film Fest

Veteran actor and director Eddie Garcia finally receives his trophy from the Subic Bay International Film Festival ( SBIFF ).
Eddie Garcia’s legendary career is honored with the Icon in Cinema Award last June of this year for SBIFF’s mainden year. Mr. Garcia was not able to make it for the awards night because of conflict with taping schedule for his role in “Ang Probinsiyano.”
Several attempts were made to personally hand over the trophy but conflict in schedule continue to get in the way.
SBIFF Festival Directors Vic V. Vizcocho Jr. and Arlyn Dela Cruz-Bernal personally gave the trophy to Mr. Garcia.
SBIFF is gearing up for a bigger festival next year also slated in June but in the months ahead, Vizcocho and Dela Cruz-Bernal said other activities will be held to continue creating waves and opportunities for filmmakers. ( 6 November 2018)
