Aiko Melendez files libel case vs Zambales vice governor
Carlo Bonifacio Alentajan.
Totally malicious. That’s why I’m fighting for this, especially for my children’s sake,” sabi ni Aiko.
“We already filed a criminal case against Angelica Magsaysay-Cheng for the crime of libel. We have already filed it to the office of the city prosecutor office and we will let this case goes to the judicial process.
“This will bring the justice system if there’s crime that has been committed it should be punished.”
Angel.
“It’s malicious imputation of a crime defect against the persons of Aiko which is against the law.
“And based on the complain, it was shown on social media aside from social media there has been physical movements of video tracks imputing my client for some kind of vice or malicious imputation upon her character which is totally against the law.”
Nilinaw din ni Atty. Alentajan na, “This is not election related. Aiko is a woman, she has rights. Everybody has rights. She is also a mother of two, she just protecting her rights by filing a case.
“What more if she’s just an ordinary citizen who cannot afford a lawyer? That’s why all of us should responsible in posting or accusing anyone of any malicious imputations.”
