Dec 14, 2019

Maine Mendoza’s popularity has started when her dubsmash videos went viral online, which had led her to become the phenomenal Yaya Dub on “Eat Bulaga.”

After her viral videos, she immediately penetrated television and film. But before joining EB family, she auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother, sadly she was rejected.

It was God redirecting her way from rejection to country’s top endorser. Her endorsements are right and left and her social media followers are supporting her more.

Being popular, as they say, has no formula. Sometimes it’s the talent that really shines and sometimes it’s coming from the artist’s luck. The Dubmash Queen dedicated her time and made sure that she’s doing a good job every time she hits stage.

This year, she played a very important role packed with adrenaline and spice in “Mission Unstapabol,” an official entry to Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019. This is her third MMFF movie with Bossing Vic.

The actress and TV host thanked Sotto for always believing what she can offer as an artist. Also, her two co-stars in the movie Jake Cuenca and Pokwang praised her for being professional and dedicated.

“Masarap katrabaho si Maine kasi mapagbigay s’yang artista.

Received good words, the in demand endorser hopes to work with other Kapamilya stars. She also thanked Jake and Pokwang for having the chance to work with them.

This is the very first full-length mainstream movie of Maine Mendoza after appearing in the critically-acclaimed romantic-drama “Isa Pa, With Feelings” opposite Carlo Aquino.

“Mission Unstapabol” is centered on master strategist Don Robert Fortun played by Vic Sotto who assembles a motlry crew of experts collectively known as “The Dons,” which consists of magician Zulueta played by Pokwang, wrestler Johnson played by Jake Cuence, car racer Kikong played by Jelson Bay, and the mysterious master computer hacker Donna played by Maine Mendoza.

Produced by APT ENTERTAINMENT INC. and MZET PRODUCTIONS, and directed by Mike Tuviera, “Mission Unstapabol” opens December 25 in cinemas nationwide.
