Rash Juzen practices arnis for new movie ‘Balangiga 1901’
Film and recording artist Rash Juzen is already preparing for his new movie ‘Balangiga 1901,’ directed by Danny Marquez.
He said in an interview, “Nag-aaral ako ng Arnis tapos nanonood din ng mga basic arnis strike sa Youtube, gym, diet. Para ‘pag shooting na, hindi na ako mangangapa.”
As an actor, he continues to practice until he masters his craft. He did several indie films and commercials before.
“Tuluy-tuloy ang pag-develop ko sa sarili ko. There’s always room for improvement,” he shared.
As everything shifts to new normal because of the pandemic, Rash follows strict health protocols.
“Puro indoor lahat ‘yung arnis training ko para safe na rin sa part ko. I workout everyday. I make myself healthy para na rin ready talaga ako kapag nag-start na mag-shooting.”
Rash is one of the supporting actors and a personal pick by the talented director.
“I’m very excited to be part of this movie. Isang maganda at kaabang-abang na pelikula ito,” the charming actor expressed.
He added, “Very proud and happy ako kasi sa totoo lang ‘yung ilan sa mga favorite actors ko ay makakatrabaho ko sa pelikula tapos si Direk Danny Marquez pa ang director at gustung-gusto ko talaga ang action movie.”
When not doing his preparations for the movie, he is also busy with his business RASHCESSTEA in Laguna. His business partner Princess Cadavona is part of the movie too.
This JF Films produced movie also stars Jason Abalos, Richard Quan, and Ejay Falcon.
