Halos isang buwan na lang ay mag-e-expire na ang kontrata sa TV 5 ng Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor at prime actor ng Kapatid Network na si Derek Ramsay.
Sa February 28, 2015 mag-e-expire ang tatlong taong kontrata ni Derek nga makausap siya ng ng Philippine Showbiz Republic sa launching ng first quarter shows ng TV 5 last January 13, sa Sampaguita Gardens, Quezon City.
“Yeah, if they want me to be with them, of course, I’ll be with them.
“If not, we will see where we go from there.
“Hindi ako yung may option, sila yung may option if they want to renew me or not.
“Naging maganda naman ang trato nila sa akin and they give me good projects so if they want to renew me, magrerenew ako.
At kahit nga nalalapit na ang expiration ng kontrata nito sa TV 5 ay may mga shows pa itong gagawin sa Kapatid Network at isa dito ang Mac and Chiz na pagbibidahan nila as twins ni Empoy Marquez na magsisimulang mapanood sa January 25, 8 P.M. Kabituin sina John Sweet Lapuz, Jojo Alejar, Jun Sabayton at Bianca King.
Hindi daw malabong magkaroon ng sequel ang hit movie na ‘English Only, Please’ na pinagbidahan nila Jennylyn Mercado na nagbigay sa kanila ng kanilang Best Actor at Best Actress award sa katatapos na MMFF 2014, pero wala pa naman daw silang nababalitaan kung tuloy ba ito o hindi.
“A lot of ideas are being thrown out right now. Viva wants us to do a movie, meron pang parang offer na three stories in one. I think Anne Curtis and Dennis Trillo ba, basta three stories in one. Basta one of them is for Jen and I, pero puwedeng mabago, hindi ko alam.
“Basta ang daming in-offer na ideas. At least I had three offers for movies.
“Expect me to do a lot of movies this year.
“Pero okey din naman if we will do the sequel of ‘English Only, Please’.
“The good thing kasi is lahat ng nakakatrabaho ko nagiging kaibigan ko like Anne Curtis, Cristine Reyes although nagkamali kami when we go to [a] relationship, mali pero okey na yun.
“And ka’y Jennylyn na naging close ko din, so we can do movies ulit kasi marami nga ang nakapansin na okey yung tandem namin .
“Basta it’s a busy year for me, kasi ang dami kong projects na gagawin and nagsisimula pa lang ang taon.” pagatatapos ni Derek Ramsay.
