No attitude on set—Toni Gonzaga
Producer and actress Toni Gonzaga said she did not encounter any bad behavior on her latest film set. She also praised all her “My Teacher” co-actors, saying they understood their assignment.
“My Teacher” is an entry to Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 directed by Toni’s husband, Paul Soriano, who was present at the grand presscon at Winford Hotel in Manila, sponsored by Joed Serrano. The film pays tribute to teachers.

“She is powerful,” Joey described Toni. “Ang hindi ko makakalimutan ay nung pumunta sila sa bahay ko,” the comedy icon recalled when Toni and Paul visited Joey at his home.
Toni shared, “Bata pa lang ako, idol ko na talaga si JDL. I remember, bumibili ng tabloid and newspapers ‘yung Daddy ko, tapos pinapabasa sa akin lahat dahil kapag kasama ko raw si JDL, dapat alam ko ang nangyayari sa paligid.”
The producer added, “Sabi ng Daddy ko, dapat daw ang iniidolo ko eh ‘yung mga tumatagal sa industriya katulad ni JDL.”
Working with icon, Toni said, “Kung nag-no si JDL, hindi talaga namin muna itutuloy ang pelikula.”
