Lea Salonga coaches Manny Pacquiao in judging Ms. Universe pageant

Sa Lunes, January 26 na gaganapin sa Miami Florida ang Ms. Universe 2015. Sa history ng Miss Universe, ilang Filipino personalities na rin ang naimbitahan para mag-judge rito tulad nina Gloria Diaz (1974), Kuh Ledesma (1991), at ang huli ay si Lea Salonga (2011).
At ngayong taon ito, ang Pambansang Kamao na si Cong. Manny Pacquiao naman ang naimbitahan dito para maging isa sa mga judges.
Sa isang interview kay Lea Salonga ay binalikan niya ang kanyang masayang experience nang maging judge sa isa sa pinakasikat na beauty pageant sa mundo.
“From my experience with the Miss Universe Pageant, they pick people that they think represents a more global community. It’s not naman nza lahat ng judges nila from one country. I think Manny will have a good time.” sabi ni Lea.
Hindi rin daw madali ang mag-judge ng isang beauty pageant lalo na sa kalibre ng Miss Universe Pageant.
“One thing that I discovered, it’s not as easy as it looks and it’s not as easy when you are doing it at home on your sofa in your pajamas.”
Nagbigay ng tips at advice si Lea para kay Pacman.
“When you’re there you really have to be objective and you become really, really objective as in how this one candidate looks on this video in bathing suit.
“You have to be picky with everything and how things look on TV is different from how it looks like.”
