Heart and Chiz wedding sponsors include the biggest names in business, politics and showbiz

Inaabangan na ang kasalang Chiz-Heart sa darating na Lunes, February 15, sa Balesin Island. Kahit sinabi ni Heart na simple lang ang kasal niya at “we don’t have big cake,” malabong maging simple ito dahil na rin sa naglalakihang personalidad na tatayong sponsors ng dalawa.
Among their male principal sponsors are business tycoons Ramon S. Ang, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Lance Y. Gokongwei, Roberto Y. Ongpin, Hans T. Sy and Dr. Andrew L. Tan.
Sino-sino ba ang mga ito? Mr. Ramon S. Ang is the President and COO of San Miguel Corporation while Mr. Fernando Zobel de Ayala holds the same prestigious position for Ayala Corporation. Mr. Roberto Y. Ongpin is the Chairman and CEO of Alphaland whose flagship project is the Balesin Island Club, the wedding venue of Heart and Chiz. Mr. Hans T. Sy is the Director and President of SM Prime Holdings, Inc. He also serves as the First Executive President of SM Investments Corp., Dr. Andrew L. Tan is the Chairman and CEO of Alliance Global Group Inc, one of the country’s largest conglomerates, and includes the real estate corporation MegaWorld.
Entertainment and media industry leaders were also named as the couple’s principal sponsors. Four of their ninongs and ninangs hail from the Kapuso network, namely GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Mrs. Lilybeth G. Rasonable, VP for Entertainment Mrs. Marivin T. Arayata and Executive Vice President and COO of GMA Kapuso Foundations Ms. Carmela “Tita Mel” C. Tiangco.
Mr. Vicente del Rosario, Jr., Chairman and CEO of VIVA Entertainment, Inc. and Mr. Eugenio L. Lopez III, Chairman of ABS-CBN Corporation will also be present as ninongs. Meanwhile, actress-director-scriptwriter Ms. Bibeth Siguion-Reyna and Mrs. Jesusa S. Poe who is more popularly known as Mrs. Susan Roces are among their ninangs.
Principal sponsors from the world of politics include Mayor Adelbert W. Antonino of General Santos City, Atty. Gilberto M. Duavit, former Congressman of the 1st district in Rizal, Gov. Faustino S. Dy, Jr. of the province of Isabela and Hon. Mayor Esther I. Hamor of Sorsogon.
The power couple have also chosen highly-acclaimed Kapuso artists Jaya and Kyla to provide soulful performances at their upcoming wedding.
Mark Bautista who just arrived from his musical stint in London was earlier confirmed by the bride-to-be herself to be singing during her bridal march.
Kapuso’s Ulitmate Soul Princess Jonalyn Viray will also be in Balesin to provide a part of the musical ambiance of the beautiful ceremony.
