After panicking and waiting, Aiko tests negative for COVID-19
Nagkaroon ng COVID-19 scare kamakailan ang aktres na si Aiko Melendez!
Kasalukuyang naka-lock in taping si Aiko sa Antipolo para sa GMA primetime series na Prima Donnas nang maganap ang insidente.
“Lunch break namin sa taping, kumakain ako ng Nori and paksiw na isda, tapos napansin ko, wala akong malasahan!
“So nataranta na ako,” ang umpisang kuwento sa amin ni Aiko sa pamamagitan ng Facebook messenger ngayong umaga ng Lunes, November 30.
Two days ago naganap ang nakakatakot na karanasan ni Aiko; agad daw na in-isolate si Aiko ng production team ng GMA at dinala sa pinakamalapit na ospital upang ma-test.
“Sa hospital, tinest ako sa loob ng service kasama ng ambulance.
“Hindi sila pumayag na ipasok ako sa hospital kasi meron yatang may COVID-19.”
Forty-five minutes hinintay ang resulta ng test ni Aiko at sa kabutihang-palad ay negative sa coronavirus ang aktres!
“They made sure na negative ako.
“Tapos they made me rest muna and binawasan sequences ko.”
Bakit siya nawalan ng panlasa?
“Yun pala maga ang tonsils ko kaya nawalan ako ng panlasa.”
Ayon pa kay Aiko, hindi siya iniwan ng mga taga-GMA all throughout her scary ordeal.
“Grabe ang alaga ng GMA sa akin, sobra!
“Stop taping sila, tapos in-adjust nila sequencess ko, na hindi ako mapapagod.”
Para kay Aiko, maituturing na “longest forty-five minutes” iyon ng kanyang buhay.
“Ang hirap! Habang naghihintay ako ng resulta ng test ko, kung anu-ano ang pumapasok sa isip ko, ‘Paano kung positive ako? Paano ang mga anak ko kapag nagka-COVID-!9 ako? Paano ang trabaho ko?’
“Yung anxiety ko, grabe!”
Samantala, narito ang buong Facebook post ni Aiko today, November 30 tungkol sa kanyang pinagdaanan.
“Eto ung araw na akala namen lahat me covid ako. Nawalan ng panlasa. Protocol is isolate ka agad sa set. That’s how strict GMA is kapag me symptoms ka. They made me wear PPE straight in my room until i got my test result which is negative. I was brought to the hospital to get my swab, And Dang that was the longest 45 minutes of my Life… waited and prayed. And what got me going was while i was escorted by the ambulance, back in the set they were all praying for me Led by Direk Tuding Alajar 💙🙏 Since i did’nt have my mom on the set ,direk Gina acted as my mom gave me all the energy boosters. Sharing this story coz being in a lockin set up is never easy, Everyday we pray for safety. Just to be able work and give our viewers what they deserve to watch comes risks also to our health. But my Lord is bigger than any of this scare! Im completely healed and surrounded with People who prays so hard🙏 Salamat Lord! Im back negative! And ready to be Kendra again….. in a few days our last stretch of lockin will come to end…. Can you blame me if I will surely be missing this set?
