After two-month break, Sylvia Sanchez is back in circulation
In my previous interview, Kapamilya award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez said that she will take a long break from acting after her hit teleserye “The Greatest Love.”
She said, that her role as Gloria, the ill-fated mother with Alzheimer’s disease, in the said TV series, was emotionally draining on her part because of her heavy dramatic scenes.
However, she had no regrets because her landmark role earned her accolades in different award-giving bodies.
Now, Sylvia is back in circulation after a two-month break.
“ Actually, sabi ko, hindi talaga ako magte-teleserye for three months dahil pahinga ako. Nakapagpahinga naman ako hindi nga lang umabot ng three months. Two months lang kasi pumasok ang La Luna, at heto naman ngayong pang three months ko, pumasok ang bagong teleserye.
“Gusto ko sanang paabutin ng three months ang bakasyon ko kasi gusto ko pa bumiyahe kasama ng asawa ko kaso dumating ang bagong project at iyong La Luna na di ko mahindian. Anyway, okay na rin dahil naka-two months na naman ako,” she said.
According to Sylvia, she took a breather from work to recharge her batteries.
She is happy to be part of the toprating Kapamilya fantaserye “La Luna Sangre.”
“Maganda rin ang role ko sa La Luna. Breather ito bago ako mag-umpisa ng bagong teleserye. Adoptive mother ako ni Kathryn na mabait na mahilig mag-ampon kasama ang asawa kong si Dennis (Padilla). Ampon namin sina Meryl, Greta, si Kathryn at iyong dalawang batang sina Kuto at Lisa,” she explained.
She is also excited about her new teleserye under Ginny Monteagudo-Ocampo’s unit for ABS-CBN.
“Sa bagong teleserye ko, I will play Sonya, matapang na nanay na palaban. Sa Greatest Love ang haba ng pasensiya at tiniis ni Gloria sa mga anak niya kahit binabastos siya. Iyakin siya at titiisin ang lahat para sa anak, pero sa bagong serye, palaban siya, matapang at hindi iyakin,” she concluded.
Aside from her teleseryes, she is doing “Nay,” a horror movie for Cinemaone Originals to be directed by Kip Oebanda.
Sylvia is also the latest celebrity endorser of Beaut’ ederm.
