Anne Curtis endorses Bam Aquino
After voicing her support on X (previously Twitter), actress Anne Curtis was finally able to personally show her support for Senator and independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino following an unplanned encounter at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
The unexpected meeting allowed Curtis to restate her support for Aquino and his causes, particularly his Free College Law. She also snapped a photo with Aquino while flashing the No. 5 sign, confirming her support for his candidacy.
Curtis also shared the photo on her Instagram account as part of her “So MARCH fun” carousel album, captioning it with “bumped into someone I’m voting for!”
This marks the third time that the actress has publicly expressed support for Aquino’s senatorial bid. Her first show of support came when she responded with a resounding “Yes!!” to stand-up comedian Alex Calleja’s tweet urging voters to include Aquino in their list of candidates for senator in the May elections.
She further reinforced her endorsement by retweeting the former Senator’s X post about his intention to uplift the lives and provide more opportunities for Filipino families.
In a Facebook post, Aquino thanked Anne for her latest expression of support, saying “Masaya akong nakasalubong at nakakwentuhan ka nang saglit sa airport habang papunta sa kanya-kanyang mga flight natin! Your support means a lot to us at sa ipinaglalaban natin sa ating kampanya.”
“Ipapanalo natin ang laban na ito para sa madlang pipol at sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino! Libreng Kolehiyo, Siguradong Trabaho! God bless you, Anne!” he added.
Aside from Curtis, several celebrities have also expressed their support for Aquino, including veteran actor Edu Manzano, Dingdong Dantes, rapper/actor/director/vlogger Pio Balbuena, Bea Binene, Janine Gutierrez, and veteran talent manager and entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz.
