Arnel Pineda streams live in Rockville

Another global phenomenon in the Philippine music industry is yet to unfold as Arnel Pineda, lead singer of the world famous rock band Journey, performs live on stage in his first global streaming concert.
Themed “Voyage to Roadville”, the concert will be streamed live and on edited relay around the world.
“It’s actually one of a kind. Anyone can see their artists at their own convenience. They can have access to their favorite artists wherever they are and experience that euphoria of being transported in a very special place called Rockville”, says Rene Walter of Sanre Entertainment.
According to Arnel, he is quite excited over this innovation in the global concert scene.
“We hope to achieve something on a higher scale. We hope to keep up with technology and I’m happy to be a pioneer in this kind of show “, enthuses Arnel.
How would he describe the concert in his journey as a rock artist?
“It’s a pretty exciting new journey. It’s experimental but I’m willing to take the risks. I hope it paves the way for other Pinoy artists to be discovered globally. I’m willing to take the path to explore it first. Marami tayong mga talent na Pinoy na nawawalan ng pag-asa na hindi na sila madi-discover globally. With this new concept, kapag nag-click ito, it would open doors for other artists to be discovered and I think this is the good start”, says Arnel.
What repertoire of songs will the audience get to hear and experience in his concert?
“I think, I’ll do a couple of original songs, then I will get to jam with Grammy award nominee Morgan Rose of the famous band Sevendust and the amazing pop rock group Namesake”, adds Arnel.
Identified with rock music, when will his followers see him do or explore other genres like rap, ballad, soul and others?
“I did a rap number when I was in Hongkong. Earlier in my career, I used to sing also songs by Stevie Wonder, George Benson at iyong mga ka-edad natin. But right now, I’m too focused on songwriting so ayokong ma-compromise iyong time ko kasi I wanna concentrate on rock”,
explains Arnel.
Arnel’s first streaming concert is also in conjunction with the launch of Sanre Streaming, a new enterprise for the entertainment giant, Sanre Entertainment Worldwide.

Arnel Pineda Live in Manila: Voyage to Rockville will stream live on April 5, 2016 at the Newport Performing Arts Center , Resorts World Complex in Manila.
