Arnell Ignacio will appear in ‘Ang Probinsyano’ soon?
After his official resignation as Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy administrator, Arnell Ignacio opens the possibility of appearing in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
During his term as deputy administrator, Arnell says that he got an offer from the Philippines’ number one serye but he rejected it because he had to follow OWWA’s rules.
“Ang dami kong tinanggihang shows. Nakalimutan ko na nga na showbiz pala ako e. Imagine, halos lahat ng artista gustong mapasama sa Probinsyano, tapos ako tinanggihan ko lang.”
If he gets offer again, he will accept it.
Meanwhile, he clarifies that “small salary” is not the reason why he has resigned. Netizens are saying on facebook that he has resigned because he was not satisfied with his salary.
“I’m really leaving government with a very heavy heart. When I assumed the post three years ago, I dedicated myself to it fully, attending to the needs of our OFWs in various countries.
“But because I was so dedicated to my work, I forgot to give attention to my own family. Ang daddy ko, may stage 4 cancer na pala, hindi ko pa alam.
“My daughter na sanay na sanay na lagi lang akong nandiyan, siya nang namahala ng negosyo namin, lalo na ang Creative Hair Systems sa Annapolis, Greenhills.
“I was attending to the problems of other people around the world, but I neglected my own family.”
His love and support to government, especially to OFWs will never stop. Now it’s time for him to focus on personal and showbiz life. But the passion of service to people will never end. Just like what Jimmy Bondoc says, “Government lost a good worker today.”
