Award-winning jewelry designer to hold benefit concert
Mrs. Classic Universe Eurasia 2020 Joyce Peñas Pilarsky gears up for her upcoming benefit concert on February 22 at the Music Museum with special guests Pilita Corales, Luke Mejares, Lloyd Umali, Thor, and many more.
The beauty queen and award-winning fashion and jewelry designer says that she’s so excited to share the same stage with the mentioned singers.
“I’m so excited. This is really my dream to produce a concert na hindi lang puro entertainment. May deeper sense ang concert na ito. When you have so much blessings, kailangan mo itong i-share lalo na sa mga nangangailangan.”
The proceeds of the concert will be donated to Taal volcano victims (she already extended her arms before conceptualizing the concert) and people living with dementia and alzheimer.
“My original concept talaga ay para sa pagpapatayo ng center for people living with dementia and alzheimer. Kaso, biglang nangyari ‘yung sa Taal so I had to double my help. From the bottom of my heart, this concert is dedicated para sa kanila. We rise by lifting each other.”
Joyce wears a lot of hat from being a designer (who competed at Los Angeles Design Competition- 1st runner up, British Top Designer- Grand Champion) to movie actress and producer. She creates gowns that are purely made here in the Philippines and truly reflect Filipino culture.
