“If there’s a will, there’s a way.” That’s what young actresses Vaness del Moral and Barbie Forteza proved by earning their high school diplomas through the Alternative Learning System of the Department of Education.

Despite their busy schedule, particularly because of their teleserye “The Half Sisters,” both Forteza and Del Moral was able to attend their ALS graduation last June 25. Commenting on her recent academic milestone, Forteza just wants to push herself further every day and that her completion of high school is a testament to that.

Meanwhile, Del Moral stated her intention to get a college degree and she dedicates her diploma to her family, friends, and relatives. She also added that it’s never too late to attain life goals and dreams. Del Moral and Forteza are regulars in “The Half Sisters” which airs on weekdays after “Eat Bulaga!” on the GMA Afternoon Prime timeslot.

Hailing from Baguio City, the 27-year-old Martha Vanessa Antonio Del Moral was a part of “StarStruck 3: The Nationwide Invasion”. She made it to the top 14 hopefuls, but was eliminated on Christmas day, 2005. Throughout her career, she has played predominantly antagonistic roles in teleseryes such as “Dyesebel,” “Impostora,” “Broken Vow,” and “Rhodora X.” She also had a hand in comedy in her stint in QTV’s “Project 11.”

On the other hand, the 17-year-old Barbara Ambas Forteza first came into the limelight with her role as Young Jodi in the local remake of Koreanovela “Stairway to Heaven.” However, she started to become a household name by playing Cyndi Gomez in the series First Time. From there, her career took off by appearing in several teleseryes and movies.
