VOGUE-ING: PH’s Notable Young Fashion Photographer BJ Pascual slays, talks about his vision
Lights on, cameras flashed, crowd cheered as the Philippines notable young fashion photographer BJ Pascual started his talk, greeted everyone with his all black outfit that made him so legit and calm to share his gold success to everyone, Ayala Museum, July 30.
His secret to success
BJ Pascual has done many prestigious magazine covers locally and internationally that showed his passion and determination to push through. He always wowed his clients with his out-of- the-box visions that tell who really he is.
“I think it’s really hard work and good work ethic. That’s very important. No matter how talented you are, kung late ka parati magsubmit or hindi ka uma-attend ng shoot or kung lagi kang late wala ring mangyayari sa’yo”, he noted on his talk.
He was also being featured in various magazines, captioning him as the next big thing in fashion photography.
His humble beginning
Pascual can definitely slay the fashion world. He ruled it with his great work that inspires and wows. A young boy who started out as “Sino yan?” is now a “BJ Pascual”.
“But in reality, I started out wala akong kilala sa industry like I knew no one. I grew up in Cavite. I went to school in Cavite, high school and grade school. I just work hard. Just really doing good work”, he shared.
The young aspiring photographers excite to be the next BJ Pascual. And for his fans, he never forgets. He remains humble despite all the success that he got.
His creation
He has worked with many celebrities like Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Soberano, Nadine Lustre and many. He has also worked with many brilliant editors. And one thing that they admired about BJ is his beyond ideas.
The renowned fashion photographer also became an art photographer for Asia’s Next Top Model where he got the chance to work with the best.
“It’s really important to have a vision as a photographer. Ang dami dami kasing photographers na magaling mag ilaw, alam lahat ng technical, meron lahat silang mamahaling equipments but it’s really not about that honestly. It’s really about your vision”, he added.

His fans remain loyal to him, supporting and attending all his events that made Pascual even luckier.
“BJ Pascual is an inspiration, a role model. Despite of his success at a young age, he stays humble. I really look up to him as a photographer and influencer”, one of his fans said.
