Bryan Revilla on hardcore scenes: Masakit sa katawan
“Napakamahiyain ko,” Bryan Revilla, the coolest of them all, highlights his fight against indie actor Kiko Matos in “Virgo,” an episode (directed by Richard Somes who is known for action-bloody films) of the three part action anthology “TRES.”
“I think hard work really pays off. Isa ‘yun sa pinaka-highlight ng films, eh, ‘yung fight namin ni Kiko Matos, that fight scene was shot for two days. Nagkatamaan kami dyan.”
“Virgo” as described, is known for his absolute order, he is a rule unto himself. He bears supreme emotional strength. The definition of Virgo is close to Bryan’s personality–creative, he challenges himself artistically.
The “Virgo” lead star says that he wants to explore his creativity by trying production works, behind the camera works. He is more than an actor. The way he speaks, he shows a kind of man that is deep thinker.
Cool, calm but nervous, Bryan had to watch countless movies because he knows that this is a big deal, especially for the Revillas who are so excited as Imus Productions is back.
Joey Marquez, Dong Abay, and Mon Confiado are part of the movie.
“Marami kaming barilan dito sa pelikula, so I found out how many rounds we actually shot ng (bullets). We shot at least 2,000-3,000 bullets for the whole film. So, if you’re looking for something that’s action-packed, ‘yung may suspense, please watch this.”
Bruises, bullets, but fun doing says Bryan. The director makes sure that it’s going to be hardcore and action-filled but the emotional value is there.
“Masakit sa katawan.”
He also shares, “I would come home with bruise (after filming), then minsan may mga kalmot pa ‘yan kasiĀ natamaan.”
Watch “TRES” on October 3 in cinemas nationwide. It is produced by Imus Productions and distributed by ABS-CBN Film Productions.
