B-HpV2jCAAAD_suTV host, wife to broadcaster Julius Babao, and a ‘mompreneur’, Christine Babao is also busy these days doing the rounds of reading her children’s book ‘SuperHero Nio.

“Yes, daming invites for my SuperHiro Nio book. I partnered with National bookstore and available na siya nationwide in 160 branches.

“My first venture siya into self publishing. Right now National Bookstore tour muna and Shaw Center Mall. I’m also the Media, Program & Events consultant of Shaw Center Mall. I also have a franchise of Chef Tony’s popcorn,” shared ‘Tintin’.

The book was inspired by her son ‘Nio’ who loves to wear superhero costumes, especially Batman. Aside from that, Tintin is gearing up for a new TV show on TV5 which she will co-produce with motivational speaker Chinkee Tan.

ChristineBabao-2B“It’s a financial literacy show. Kami ni Chinkee ang producers. You know, being our own bossings now. Aside from the noble goals of the financial literacy advocacy show, ang laki ng income potential ng financial literacy show,” she said.

 

In 2011, Christine became a Kapatid talent after two decades of hosting stints in ABS-CBN. She became one of the mainstays of the shows ‘Sapul Sa Singko, ‘Kumare Club’, ‘Good Morning Club’, and ‘Face The People’.

Last Monday, March 9, Sharon Cuneta returned to ABS-CBN after being a Kapatid talent for almost two years. The Megastar reportedly signed a P1-billion contract with the network in 2012. Her contract was pre-terminated August of last year.

Being her ‘Ninang’, Christine is simply happy for the Megastar. “I am so happy and excited for my Mega Ninang Shawie because she will get to do again what she loves to do and is really good at doing — acting, singing and hosting. I heard she is going to do a teleserye and I can’t wait to see her in a teleserye and also a movie soon!” said Christine.
