Christopher Lee dies at the age of 93
Saruman is dead so as Dracula and Count Dooku. The Master of Horror, Sir Christopher Lee, 93, the legendary actor behind these roles had passed away in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, Sunday morning. Lee had been diagnosed with a respiratory problem and was admitted to the hospital for heart failure and stayed there for three weeks.
We can confirm that the Register Office issued a death certificate for Mr. Christopher Lee,” says the hospital spokesperson during the official announcement last Sunday.
Saruman in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ was perhaps one of the most known character played by Sir Christopher Lee in recent times. His first popular role was in the films “The Curse of the Frankenstein” in 1957 and as ‘Count Dracula’ from 1958 up to the 70’s.
IMdB.com also commented Sir Christopher Lee as “the only actor in his generation who had starred in so many films.”
“I think acting is a mixture of instinct, imagination and inventiveness. All you can learn as an actor is basic technique,” says one of the famous quotes from the actor.
Farewell Sir Christopher Lee.
