Coleen learns to fight for Billy
Kapamilya actress Coleen Garcia shared to PSR some details on her forthcoming private wedding with TV host-actor Billy Crawford.
“Actually, first time kong sasabihin, sa April na siya. Couple of months right now, pero hindi pa kami nagse-send ng invitation. Pina-finalize na namin ang entourage and it’s gonna a beach wedding here in the Philippines,” she intimated.
Coleen is one of the lead actresses in the scorchingly hot Star Cinema movie “Sin Island” where she shares stellar honors with Xian Lim and Nathalie Hart.
She also revealed that she and Billy, her soon-to-be groom, have no agreement that she will stop doing sexy roles after their marriage.
“Si Billy kasi, a lot of people don’t know the dynamics of our relationship. Si Billy, very, very supportive siya. Parang pag nakikita niya, na dito ako masaya, pag nakikita niya na dito ako nagsha-shine, na ito iyong hilig ko, na ito iyong passion ko, sinusuportahan niya ako all the way. Like what I said, iyong hard part, noong una, we got through it already. Nakasanayan na kasi namin as a unit na wala naman kaming usapan kung ititigil o ile-lessen. Siguro, it depends on the material na ipre-present . Kung maganda iyong role at maganda iyong materyal, game pa rin naman ako,” she said.
The movie “Sin Island” is about people who succumbed to temptation.
Personally, she admitted that she has also her own shortcomings when it comes to her relationship with Billy.
“Siguro iyong kawalan ng time, iyon ang pinakang kasalanan ko. Pero ano kasi, he’s just as excited the whole time naman na parang wala naman akong ginawa rito na hindi na siya sanay. Parang sanay na rin naman siya. I think, iyong pinakahirapan siya iyong first film, iyong sa amin ni Derek sa “Ex With Benefits.”
“Nahirapan siya dahil hindi pa siya sanay. But for now, especially that it’s my fourth time working with Direk Gino (Santos), so parang kabisado na niya kung paano kami magtrabaho and he’s very kampante na naman kung paano kami magtrabaho,” she shared.
She also said that “Sin Island” is not just a sexy movie but a scorcher with a different twist but replete with values.
Although there are a lot of people who favor her relationship with Billy, she’s also aware that there are those who disapprove of it.
“Actually, ngayon ko lang din natutunan iyong value na fighting for your love. Kasi, parang everything na nangyari sa akin dati, ako palagi iyong mabilis sumuko, ako palagi iyong tumatakbo, ako iyong umaalis. Pero, it’s only now, that I am with the right person, na I realized that as long as two people make it work, it will work. Kahit ano pa ang kasalanan nila sa isa’t isa, basta pinili nilang ilaban ang kanilang pag-ibig, ipaglaban ang kanilang relationship, it will definitely work,” she concluded.
“Sin Island” follows the story of Kanika (Coleen Garcia), a flight attendant who is cheating on her husband, David (Xian Lim), a photographer. When David finds out about her infidelity, he starts his own affair with Tasha (Nathalie Hart).
