Darwin Yu, Enzo Santiago to topbill first Pinoy BL series
Sina Darwin Yu at Enzo Santiago ang tampok sa upcoming Filipino BL series na My Extra-Ordinary. Ang BL ay short for Boys Love at ang serye ay magpi-premiere sa TV5.
Ito ang first television project ng Asterisk Artist Management ni Kristian G. Kabigting ngayong 2020. Sina Enzo at Darwin ay kabilang sa 18 new artists na ipinakilala ng Asterisk.

Kuwento ni Darwin, “Ito po ang first Pinoy BL series on Philippine TV! This series was inspired from a Thai series. It’s an extra ordinary love story of two people which revolves in the past of the two characters. Very exciting iyong twist, kaya lang I can’t reveal too much pa po.
“I’ll be playing Shake, one of the male leads. Shake is a law student looking for justice for himself and for his family.”
May sexy scene at intimate scene ba sila rito ni Enzo?
“Based on the storyline, intimate scenes are not suitable. But, I’m open to do a kissing or love scene with my partner as long as the scene is needed naman po.”
Nakatawang wika pa niya. “Hahaha! We are doing our best to give justice sa character namin, be comfortable to each other to have a good chemistry.”
Hindi ba siya nag-aalala na pagdudahan ang gender niya o matsismis na gay?
“I always say that fame and controversy is a package deal, minsan siyempre mapapaisip ako but nagfo-focus na lang ako sa character ko. May positivity sa lahat ng negative things,” saad niya.
Si Darwin ay half Chinese at half Pinoy, siya ay 23 years old at tubong San Fernando, Pampanga. Graduate siya sa Trinity University of Asia with a degree ng Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management.
Itinuturing ni Darwin na biggest break sa showbiz ang maging lead actor ng pelikulang 1st Sem.
“My first big break po ay yung 1st Sem movie with Ms. Lotlot de Leon. Lead role po ako rito and sobrang memorable nito sa akin, plus, ang dami kong natutunan po rito.
“Pumunta pa kaming India for International film festival. Nag-Cebu rin kami… I was also nominated sa PMPC Star Awards for Movies as Best New Movie Actor of the Year at sa Best Actor sa Madrid international film festival,” wika pa ni Darwin.
