‘Destined To Be Yours’ to bring heartfelt scenes on finale tonight
After three months of bringing viewers undeniable kilig and tear-jerking scenes, GMA Network’s well-loved primetime series ‘Destined To Be Yours’ is down to its finale tonight.
Its lead stars, the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza expressed their gratitude to the Kapuso fans who tuned in and supported the series every night.
“Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal at suportang ibinigay niyo sa amin,” said the two. “Nandiyan na kayo ‘mula nang magsimula ang love story namin ni Sinag sa Pelangi, at hindi kayo bumitaw at sinamahan niyo pa kami ni Benjie sa lungkot at saya.”
“Kaya ngayon, sama sama nating abangan ang happy ending ng aming kuwento. Wag na wag niyong palalampasin ang kasalang magaganap sa “Destined To Be Yours: The Fulfilment of a Promise,” Alden and Maine added.
In the story, Benjie (Alden Richards) and Sinag’s (Maine Mendoza) relationship remains on the rocks. While the two of them have admitted their feelings for one another and swore to fight for their love, both of their families are still desperate to keep them apart. Even fate itself which brought them together puts into play dreadful situations that would test the love they have for each other.
At Pelangi where they first met, Benjie finally asks for Sinag’s hand in marriage and she says yes despite knowing that her family won’t approve. Even so, the two are happily determined to get married no matter what. Sally (Janice de Belen), on the other hand, sees a vision of Sinag and Benjie meeting a fatal accident.
