Director Joselito Altarejos brings porn to Sinag Maynila 2019
Two sex workers are hired to do a pornographic film—iyan ang kwento ng bagong pelikula ng award-winning filmmaker Joselito Altarejos titled Jino To Mari (Gino and Marie), kalahok sa Sinag Maynila 2019.
Masayang masaya s’ya dahil finally ay maipalalabas na ito sa bansa. Iba raw ang feeling kapag Filipino audience ang makasasaksi.
Ito na ang pinakamapangahas at matapang na pelikula ni direk Joselito. Kwento n’ya, nag hire ang team n’ya ng mga totoong sex workers na mapapanood sa pelikula.
“There are real sex workers sa film, pero naka-mask sila.”
Dagdag pa ng direktor, classical songs ang ginamit na nakadagdag sa mood ng pelikula. Mula sa pagbuo ng istorya hanggang sa sound at poster editing ay very hands-on s’ya.
Pinagbibidahan nina Oliver Aquino at Angela Cortez na game na game sa pag-portray ng kanilang karakter.
“Good thing, our actors are professional. They had the full grasp of the story and their characters. They knew what was expected of them. And they did the scenes excellently.”
Ikatlong pelikula na ito ng aktor kasama ang direktor, ang huli ay ang Tale Of The Lost Boys na humakot ng maraming parangal.
Bukod sa pagpapakita ng sensitibong eksena, ibinahagi ng director-writer kung ano ang pinaka-challenging.
Sagot nya, “The entire film was a challenge to make. We had to shoot during All Saints Day. We had to deal with the crowd. Not only in Quiapo, but while travelling and at the cemeteries.
“We had to shoot the travel scenes as ordinary passengers, since we didn’t have the resources to rent an entire bus.
“Since the film is about two sex workers hired to do a porno film, there were a lot of sensitive scenes. And there are scenes that involved other actors not just Oliver and Angela. WE had to be very careful and take care of them.”
Nagbukas na ang Sinag Maynila 2019 sa mga piling sinehan. Ang Jino To Mari ay isa sa mga pinag-uusapang kalahok. Magkakaroon ng Gala Night sa Sabado, 9 pm, Gateway Mall.
