
Drake leads American Music Awards with 13 nominations
Drake lead, set the record, got 13 nominations from the 2016 American Music Awards.
The Rapper set a new record for the most AMA nominations in one year. Michael Jackson was the last artist to hold the record with 11 nominations in 1984.
Drake’s album Views got the number one spot on the charts and the most requested album in some record bars.
While, Rihanna got seven nominations, Adele and Justin Bieber got five nominations. The Queen Beyonce’s album Lemonade was nominated in four categories.
Battling for the trophy of Artist of the Year are Adele, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Drake, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Twenty One Pilots, Carrie Underwood, and The Weekend, all head to head for the trophy.
The 2016 American Music Awards is set to air on November 20, ABC.
