downloadRegular moms might assume that celebrities don’t get any stretch marks during pregnancy. Why? Because sometimes we only see airbrushed photos of them, or think that they have this secret cream that only celebrities can buy.

But the truth is, celebrity moms are just like us. Yes, those who put them on a pedestal should relax because they are flawed like the rest of us. Just because celebrities have trainers who can whip them into shape during and after pregnancy or they can afford expensive treatments that can magically erase those stretch marks, skin is skin and it doesn’t go back once it’s stretched out!

Sure there is makeup and creams to hide those annoying marks, but in my opinion, those are “battle scars” from having a baby. And these celeb moms agree! In fact, some don’t even try to hide those marks and we love them for it!

So which celebrity moms have stretch marks and don’t care?

After some netizens bashed actress Ina Raymundo about her dark underarm, she recently posted on her Instagram account another selfie photo this time showing off her stretch marks. She is an inspiration to her followers and fans.

“I’m a mom of 5 and I have (severe) stretch marks on my belly. I used to hate them but I’ve realized that all I need is a good…..tummy tuck!” #battlescars #nofilter #momof5” says Ina.

“Even though some might consider them a flaw, I’ve learned to love my stretch marks. Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had. So I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the cellulite I can never get rid of,” added Ina.

Former beauty queen and actress Maggie Wilson also showed her “battle scars” via another selfie. “I am covered in stretch marks and cellulite but it doesn’t bother me at all. My body will never be the same again but I really don’t care.”

Even Hollywood actresses aren’t ashamed of their stretch marks like actress Julia Roberts who bared her belly in a bikini on the beach back in 2009 with a huge smile! She was said to be “a heroine for real women” after baring her stretch marks.

After the film, Little Children, Hollywood was all abuzz not only because of a few fairly graphic scenes but more importantly because Kate Winslet was bold enough to show off her stretch marks. The critics praised Winslet for accepting her post-baby body.

Katie Holmes is not worried about covering up her stretch marks either. Apparently she has ’em. “I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing.”

Philippine Showbiz Republic (PSR.ph) salutes these moms for being brave enough to show their “battle scars” and becoming an inspiration to other women out there!
