On fiancee Nikka Martinez: “It was God who made it right for the two of us”–Patrick Garcia

Patrick Garcia has indeed come a long way from being a 90’s heartthrob who first made his name in the youth-oriented show, Ang TV. He was among the child actors and actresses then who have evolved into household names today. He’s about to marry his fiancee–former commercial model Nikka Martinez with whom he has a daughter named Chelsea (who just turned 1-year-old this March). Patrick has a lovechild with ex-girlfriend actress Jennylyn Mercado named Alex Jazz who is now five years old. In a previous interview, Jennylyn said that she and Patrick are now good friends, and that she would not mind attending his wedding. Jennylyn and Patrick broke up in 2008. Alex Jazz will even be part of the entourage, as the ring bearer.
Patrick has proposed to Nikka in June 2014 after having Chelsea. “It was with Nikka that I learned more about my faith,” says Patrick in an interview. During his proposal Patrick knelt down and said,” It will make me very happy if you’d allow me to make it right with you and most of all we could make it right before the Lord?” “We started out wrong. It was God who made it right for the two of us,” reveals Patrick. He said that he knew it was the right time to propose to Nikka. It was in August 2014 that Patrick has confirmed that they are engaged.
Nikka, a devout christian and a Sunday School teacher in Alabang says, “I’m so proud of Pat. There’s no doubt in my heart that we’re truly meant for each other and he’d be the man I’m going to love forever and grow old with.”
Nice Print Photography has released the pre-nuptial photos of the couple shot entirely in the picturesque Balesin Island Club in Quezon province. Some of the photos show the couple with their lovely daughter Chelsea, and the two riding a horse.
Patrick and Nikka are set to tie the knot in March 21.
