Gay film shot in Olongapo finally comes this Friday; Mr. Pogi thanks Arlyn Dela Cruz, Bong Diacosta
‘Nang Dumating Si Joey,’ the gay drama film introducing Francis Grey with Rash Juzen and Allan Paule, is the latest Blank Pages Productions project to be released on KTX.ph.
The Arlyn Dela Cruz-directed film will be available this August 13, adding to an already wide library of good Filipino films streaming on KTX.

Shot in Olongapo City last April and produced by Kuya Bong Diacosta, ‘Nang Dumating Si Joey’ follows the story of a young boy (Grey) who discovers his true self and finds his freedom.
In a Facebook post, the lady director wrote, “Shooting ‘Nang Dumating si Joey’ in the mountainous area in Olongapo City in the midst of the pandemic last April of this year is so far the most challenging principal photography we had to face.
“Exhausting, laborious and yet no one complained . Kung meron man, hindi ko narinig o hindi na siguro ipinarinig sa akin.”
Dela Cruz added, “The screams heard when we descended, a day after the final shooting day, were definitely an unapologetic display of joy, relief, and a joint sense of accomplishment by our production team.
“We were all tired and yet there was that unmistakable bond among us.”
Fans are already showing their support to Eat Bulaga’s Mr. Pogi 2019 grand finalist. This is Francis’ debut film.
“I’m very honored po na ako ang napili ni direk Arlyn para i-portray ang character ni Joey. Mr. Allan Paule po was very supportive sa aming mga baguhan,” Grey said.

‘Nang Dumating Si Joey’ will showcase the acting talents of newbies Francis Grey and Rash Juzen. It also stars Ernie Garcia and Isadora.
