Glitz and Glamore at the 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies

Winners of the 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies will be revealed this Sunday, March 8, 2015, 7PM, through a glittering and star-studded musical show at the Theater at Solaire, Paranaque City.
Hosted by Kim Chiu, Iza Calzado, Xian Lim and Ms. Pops Fernandez, with Robi Domingo as segment host, the more than two-hour musical spectacle is expected to enliven and brighten up the evening, with songs and special production numbers that will serve to honor the night’s deserving winners of this year’s Star Awards for Movies.
To perform for the opening number are some of the top singing bets, led by Pilipinas Got Golden Goose Sneakers Talent Season 3 Finalist, Lucky Robles; Karaoke World Champions Lilibeth Garcia and JV Decena; Mark Mabesa, X Factor Phils., and Macau International Jazz and Blues Parajumpers Last Minute Festival Finalist; and Charice, International Singing Sensation and adjudged World’s Most Talented Girl by International TV host and movie actress, Oprah Winfrey.
A tribute to Special Lifetime Achievement Awardees follows, with R&B King and Queen Kyla and JR serenading Ms. Celia Rodriguez, this year’s recipient of the Nora Aunor Ulirang Comprar Tanga Calvin Klein Artista Lifetime Achievement Award; and Director Maryo J. delos Reyes, the honoree of the Ulirang Alagad ng Pelikula Sa Likod Ng Kamera.
A special production number is also in the line-up, from Comedy Concert Queen, Ms. AiAi Delas Alas.
This will be followed by Romania Kits another production number by the Voice of the Philippines’ Top Four (4): Jason Dy, Alisah Bonaobra, Lea Patricia, and Rence Rapanot.
A Finale musical performance number is a Showdown Sing & Dance by talented siblings, Alex Gonzaga and Toni Gonzaga.
These and more are to be expected of the exciting and fun-filled presentation of the 31st Star Awards for Movies, a joint production of the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC), headed by its current President and Over-All Chairman, Joe Barrameda, and Airtime Marketing, Inc. (Blocktimer) headed by Ms. Tessie Celestino-Howard.
A Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Sneakers Sale delayed Woolrich Jacka Dam Rea telecast of the awards’ show of the 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies will be aired on Sunday, March 22, on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.
