‘Guerrero Dos’ finds love, courage, hope
EBC Films once again captured Pinoy viewers after Guerrero Dos’ successful advanced screening at the Cinema 4 of the SM Megamall, October 29.
The film is slated to be shown in cinemas nationwide starting November 2019. The film also received positive reactions from viewers, saying that it captured their hearts.
Its lead child actor Julio Sabernorio, who received Best Child Actor at the 2017 PMPC Star Awards for Movies, portrayed his character well. Guerrero (first part) showcased his authentic acting. This year, with Guerrero Dos, he owned his character more, proving that he’s a brilliant actor.
This EBC’s newest offering also discussed the importance of mental health and how it affected people. The film showed that in every problem or pain, we need to find love, courage, and hope.
Guerrero Dos is written and directed by multi-awarded director Carlo Ortega Cuevas who won such accolades as the Best International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema in London, the Best New Comer Filmmaker of the Year at the World Film Awards in Jakarta, Indonesia, Best Feature Comedy in the Amsterdam International Festival of World Cinema.
Also part of the film: veteran actor and director Arturo De Guzman, new-comer Mia Suarez, and with a special cameo role by popular actor, Victor Neri.
Guerrero Dos is the third film venture of EBC Films in the production of inspirational movies. EBC Films hopes that it will make people laugh and cry, but most importantly, it aims to inspire Filipinos here and around the world to face life with greater vigor and fight for their faith with stronger zeal.
