
Your Guide To 2016 Emmy Awards
Fantasy drama Game of Thrones breaks the record of most Emmys given to a fictional series, winning three big awards while political satire show Veep making our self jumping again for winning Outstanding Comedy Series for two years in a row and for the night’s highlight goes to The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story for winning five statues.
Emmy Awards honored the best in the US primetime television programming as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The 68th Emmy Awards was held on Sunday, September 18 at the Microsoft Theater, Downtown Los Angeles, California and was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
Last July 14, 2016, the nominations were announced. The limited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story was the most nominated program at the ceremony with 13, and 22 overall, although Game of Thrones received the most overall nominations that year with 23 and was the most nominated drama series.
