Sa kanyang Instagram account ay humingi na ng public apology ang aktres na si Melissa Mendez kay Rey Pamaran, ang lalaking nakaalitan at nakasagutan nya sa eroplano ng Cebu Pacific papuntang Pagadian City last Friday, March 20.
She posted, “In light of the recent incident that involved me and Mr. Rey Pamaran, I would just like to simply apologize for my untoward actions and move on from this. This incident has caused a lot of pain and trouble to me and my family, as well as the other party involved.
“I am owning up to my mistake. No matter what the reason might be, I had no right to physically hurt Mr. Pamaran. Again, my deepest apologies to Mr. Pamaran and everyone else who have been affected by this..”
Kasama ng kanyang post ang quotation in Martin Luther King “Darkness cannot drive out darkness only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”
Matatandaang isa sa naging kondisyon ni Rey ang paghingi ng isang public apology mula kay Melissa upang hindi ito magsampa ng kaso laban sa aktres.
