Meet Pencil Pirate, Flutterby and Bubble Trouble at the Century Supermall on April 16! They are the lovable characters of the currently fastest-selling children book, entitled Superdudes, available online and select stores outlets. Book author Stevie Nicholson together with fellow Superdudes members will personally bond with the kids for an afternoon of fun, music, antics and art workshop. Moreover, Nicholson will hold a book signing session and picture-taking with the kids and the young-at-hearts as well together with the show’s cast at the mall’s Event Center.

Superdudes is a funny and quirky children’s book created by Stevie Nicholson, a member of the well-loved Australian children’s musical group Hi-5. The book, with illustrations by Nick Rudich, focuses on capturing the imagination of children in a playful and engaging way and is based on the philosophy that absolutely anyone and anything can be Super!
Nicholson is probably one of the most famous faces for people 14 years and below. Hi-5 is a popular children’s group and kids around the globe sing and dance to their songs. After almost a decade of entertaining young Filipinos as a member of the Australian pop group, Nicholson returns to the Philippines for the World Premiere of Superdudes.

“Superdudes is about more than just the book, it presents children and families an opportunity to connect with someone that a generation has grown up with in a way that they haven’t been able to in the past,” said Nicholson.

The Hi-5 veteran has been travelling around the country from March 27 to April 18, performing in a series of live musical productions featuring characters inspired by his book. He has drawn on his years of experience touring the world to create an electrifying showcase that will surely capture the imagination of every Filipino.
Nicholson admitted he has chosen Manila to play host to the official inauguration of his funny children’s book. He said his Filipino fans hold a special place in his heart.

“It’s a crazy experience performing in the Philippines with all the traffic and population. It’s exciting! It’s a different experience performing here. And the kids are incredible, imagine them asking me outright why I left Hi-5 and coming back here as part of Superdudes,” Nicholson said.
