Jake Cuenca wants to try his hand in directing

Nag-trending agad ang unang episode Pinoy remake ng bagong serye ng ABS CBN na ‘Pasion De Amor’ na nagsimulang umere nitong Lunes, June 1. Dahil dito, abut-abot ang pasasalamat ng isa sa bida sa nabanggit na Pinoy remake ng Colombian telenovela na si Jake Cuenca.
Kabituin niya rito sina Arci Munoz, Coleen Garcia, Ellen Adarna, Ejay Falcon, at Joseph Marco.
“I’m playing a good guy this time and it feels different,” sabi ni Jake.
“It’s challenging kasi it’s completely different,” dagdag pa nito.
Iba ang aura ngayon ni Jake. Mukha siyang inspired dahil laging nakangiti at may kakaibang glow sa kanyang mga mata. Dahil ba ito sa Irish-American girlfriend niya ngayon na si Sara Grace Kelly?
“She’s the only girl that brought the light side of me,” aniya.
“Because of her parang I became so less serious, more fun, and more spontaneous. Before I met her (Sara) parang nawala yun, since I’m so focused with my career and everything. And then she just brings out this whole different side of me.”
Totoo ba na may nasabi siya na if ever na hilingin ni Sara na iwan niya ang kanyang showbiz career sa Pilipinas and follow her sa Amerika ay gagawin niya?
“She’ll never let me do that. But I mean if I have to drop everything for her, I will. Yes, I’ll do it for her.”
Tapos nang kumuha ng acting classes si Jake sa New York. This time, plano naman daw niyang bumalik doon para naman mag-aral ng directing.
“Yeah! Pagkatatpos na siguro ng ‘Passion De Amor.’ More or less, I wanna do another movie. And then, study directing.”
