Jasmine Curtis-Smith to star in adaptation of Korean soap “My Fair Lady”

Happy si Jasmine when she was presented to the media together with the stars who will support her. Her leading men will be Vin Abrenica and Luis Alandy. They will be joined by Joross Gamboa, Eddie Gutierrez, Kobe Ix Elite Low Chanel Morales, Yayo Aguila, DJ Durano, Jenny Miller, Katrina Legaspi and the comebacking actress Marjorie Barretto. It will be under Ricky Rivero’s direction.
But wait! There’s more. “Na-surprise na naman ako before in a different situation. Matindi rin. But that was years ago. Pero not like this na in front of so many people talaga,” bulalas ni Jasmine.
A guy who’s outright proposing his feelings and intentions. Is that a plus or minus for the guy?
“Hindi ko nga alam. Hindi naman masasabing minus point kasi obviously gusto niya lang ipakita who he is sa lahat ng tao. It just so happened. Ang iba, may iisipin. Baka political ploy ito. But it won’t be fair to judge,” pagpapatuloy pa ni Jasmine.
Pero bukas na ba ang puso niya sa page-entertain muli ng bagong manliligaw? Someone close to her said na tatlong binata na ang nagpahayag ng pagpapaalam sa Ate Anne niya na gusto nilang manligaw. Pero hindi raw ito tinanggap ni Anne. Paano nakalusot si Brian? Na sa presscon pa ng palabas niya lumitaw.
“Time heals all things. No! Wala naman ng scars. Peklat ng bakuna na lang ang naiwan. My Ate, when it comes to guys eh, easy naman to please. Pero when she senses that the guy wants to take it to another level, du’n na siya nagiging super concerned and protective,” pahayag ni Jasmine.
“Ako eh, na-surprise rin nga. Ang alam ko, ako ang may surprise sa press. I thought magpapa-raffle ako or something. Ako pala ang bibigyan ng surprise. Na-blangko lang utak ko. Wala akong masabi. What’s happening? Parang na-shut off ako sa outside world for a second. Na deadma ang isip ko. Nagulo ako actually. I’m sure my Ate doesn’t know about this. We’ll see what she has to say later na. Wala naman din ako masasabi. ”
Ano ang feeling na finally you’re out in the shadow of your Ate?
“Kahit naman ano ang gawin ko siyempre hindi maaalis na mai-compare pa rin ako sa kanya. So ako, natutunan ko na to use it to my advantage. Kapatid ko ‘yun, eh. It’s a fact na hindi mababago at mabubura. So all I can do is make good with what I am working on. So pati Ate ko and my family will be proud of me.”
There’s a hush-hush that she will do a project with her ex boyfriend, Sam Concepcion. If there is truth to that, of course, that will call for another interview with Jasmine.
The “Fair Lady” is all about a bratinela who comes from a well-off family, blessed wtih beauty and intelligence but a very regal demeanor. She’s a major pain in the neck of her Lolo (Eddie). She meets her match in Hero (Vin) as well as Benjie (Luis). Comedy, drama and mystery is what the show will offer the viewers who stuck with the Korean version. It will premiere on September 14, week-days at 9:30 p.m.
Now for that Brian Poe Llamanzares chapter, can we see that some place else? Unless he will be part of the show, too!
