Jeri Violago dedicates ‘Gusto Kita’ to supporters
Newbie singer Jeri Violago recently signed a 3-tier contract with Star Music and promised to offer TikTok friendly music. He launched his new song “Gusto Kita” under Tarsier Records last November 28 in Quezon City, dedicating it to his supporters.
Present during the music event were music experts Jonathan Manalo and Vehnee Saturno. Violago’s family also attended the launch.
Sharing his journey, the rising singer said, “Nung kumanta ako, nagulat nga po family ko kasi hindi nila alam na mayroon pala akong boses. I said basta maka-graduate ako, ipu-pursue ko itong music career,” he said.
The “Gusto Kita” recording artist turned down dad’s offer to take on a key position at the family-owned rice mill business in San Jose, Nueva Ecija.
Now, a full time singer, he hopes to collaborate with hitmakers and plans to produce more songs that tell love. His strength as an artist is his solid vocals, making him as one of the rising singers.
Violago could quickly shift from pop, jazz, and swing to R&B and soul. As a teen, he trained at The Music School of Ryan Cayabyab.
He thanked his parents, Star Music, Jonathan Manalo, and Vehnee Saturno. “Gusto Kita” is available on Spotify and other digital music platforms. He’s also on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
